I attend the 10.45 service, which is a loving family of all ages from babies to ‘wrinklies’ like me. I love to be part of God’s people in this beautiful, ancient church worshipping Him each week. We have songs telling of Jesus’ love and God’s loving forgiveness. The ‘Not the Sermon Slot’ is for the children, but we all enjoy it, we have a ‘proper’ sermon after the children have gone to their groups.

Footprints

Footprints courses are study and nurture courses, produced ‘in-house’. The sessions short and are informal, last for four weeks, and do not assume any background knowledge. They are for anyone who wants to deepen their faith, and know more about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit -and that should be everyone! Two examples are below.

Time Out is a group for women – an opportunity to take time out in the busyness of your week to explore the relevance of God to everyday life in the 21st century. Pathfinders

Starting Sunday 22nd April our Pathfinders group (9-12 year olds) will be exploring the teachings of Jesus.

When the weather is fine, Pathfinders will be leaving church house and moving outside for the games part of each session.

Each week we share food, play games, teach about Jesus and ask questions.

Annual Church Meetings

There will be three vacancies on the PCC and two deanery synod posts at the Annual Church Meeting on April the 18th. If you have been on the electoral roll for 6 months you are eligible to stand for election . Forms of application are available at the back of church , from the Secretary by e mail or on the diocesan web page

Farewell to Dawn Jenkins

One of the things that had appealed to me about this Church was the statement on the welcome page of the website that “Everybody can find a home at All Saints and we look forward to welcoming you to one of our services or other meetings”. That has been proved to be the case, with a diverse tradition of welcome, Witness and Worship from the mature Christians to the actively seeking whatever the age and background. And that vision that you have developed together is clearly being lived out here.

All Saints really have found a way to worship that maintains respect for the traditional styles of worship that many have experienced and enjoyed over the years. Whilst also exploring new forms of worship that connect and talk to today’s generations through contemporary music and media whether it’s the 10.45 worship, Release or First Direct

Thank you All Saints for an amazing welcome and for the different opportunities to serve here.

Sunday Services

8am Holy Communion – traditional

9.15am Holy Communion – traditional with choir

10.45am Main Service – praise band, teaching & youth/children’s groups

6.30pm Evening service – variety of services (7.30pm on First Snday of month)

Each Sunday we hold four services as shown below. Visitors are welcome to join us at all these services.

8.00 am – Prayer Book said Holy Communion
9.15 am – Holy Communion (except 5th Sunday), Organ and Choir, Traditional Style (2nd & 4th Sundays) and Common Worship on the 1st and 3rd Sundays.
10.45 am – Common Worship for young and old. Songs and Hymns. Music Group,
Holy Communion - 2nd and 4th Sundays.
Creche and Children’s Activities during the 10.45 service -
- Lighthouse (3+),
- Explorers (7-9),
- Pathfinders (9-13),
- SMIFF (12-15)
6.30 pm – A variety of services each month
- First Direct , Contemporary Service 1st Sunday at 7.30pm
- Prayer Book Evensong, 2nd and 4th Sundays,
- Joint service with Baptist Church & Christchurch, 3rd Sunday
- Songs of Praise on 5th Sundays

We also have the following weekly services:

Midweek said Holy Communion – Wednesdays at 11.45 am
Sunday Night – Young People’s Group – 13+ at 7.45pm on Sundays.
Daily Prayers in the Side Chapel – Mon-Fri 9.05am-9.25am

The church is situated on the A65 at the main cross-roads in the centre of Ilkley.
